A fiduciary advisor is legally required to act in your best interest at all times — not the firm’s. Unlike broker-dealers, we cannot recommend products for commissions. At 44 North Capital, we are fee-only fiduciaries, which means our only compensation comes from you, helping reduce conflicts of interest.
We work with individuals and families who generally have investable assets over $1M, or those who are on a clear path to that level. We also work with professionals and business owners undergoing significant financial transitions. Contact us to discuss whether we’re the right fit for your situation.
We charge a transparent, asset-based advisory fee – a small percentage of the assets we manage on your behalf. There are no commissions, no hidden fees, and no product markups. We’ll clearly explain our fee structure before you commit to anything.

Most clients meet with their advisor at least twice per year for formal wealth strategy meetings, with additional check-ins triggered by major life events – a job change, inheritance, business sale or retirement. We’re also available for questions as they arise throughout the year.

Founder, Manging Partner
Jonathan Landry is the Founder and Principal of 44 North Capital, which he launched following 11 years as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President in the wealth management industry. Understanding the importance of what each client’s portfolio means to them is what makes Jonathan’s work so meaningful. He partners closely with clients while leading wealth advisory and portfolio strategy at 44 North. Jonathan earned his Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2017 and has been recognized on the Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” list in 2023 and the Forbes “Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors Best-in-State” list in both 2022 and 2023.
Originally from the Boston area, Jonathan earned a BA in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross. Following his senior year, he signed an NHL contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets, beginning a four-year career in professional hockey. After hanging up the skates, Jonathan relocated to Vermont and began his career in wealth management. He and his wife enjoy raising their three children while taking full advantage of everything Vermont has to offer.
Director of Financial Planning
Lexie Forest has been a trusted voice in wealth management since 2012. A key member of the 44 North Capital team, she has partnered with Jonathan for over six years with a shared commitment to putting clients first. A CFP® professional since 2018, Lexie approaches every client relationship with integrity and a deep sense of fiduciary responsibility.
Originally from the Chicago area, Lexie attended the University of Vermont, earning a BA in Business Administration and competing on the varsity women’s soccer team for four years. Lexie, her husband, and two daughters split their time between South Florida and Vermont, spending summers in the mountains and on Lake Champlain.
Director of Client Services
Billie Crane began her career in the financial services industry in 2001 and has been a crucial part of 44 North Capital since its launch. As Director of Client Services, her attention to detail and positive attitude are what drive the client service experience at 44 North. You can count on Billie to handle any operational needs with efficiency and care, making her an invaluable part of the team.
A Vermont native, Billie has a deep love for Lake Champlain and enjoys spending as much time on the water as possible. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her boating on the lake, traveling, or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
